We are a SaaS company providing travel planning, booking and exploration capabilities for travel agents to launch their own business with the click of a few buttons, corporate travelling enablement, social travel sales and embedded integration with super applications. Our services are powering several hundred agencies already and we are in the next phase of our company’s growth to extend and grow our current capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Write design specifications and proposals for new features and enhancements.
- Spend 50% of the time to enable new and existing team members to write better code by setting up coding standards, best practices, code reviews, quality assurance practices etc.
- Spend the remaining 50% of the time in building framework code, code for critical new features and enhancements and helping customers on production trouble shooting and rolling out hot fixes to solve immediate customer pains.
- Own and deliver end to end (Ideation->Design->Build->Operationalize->Support).
- Collaborate with business analysts, UX Designers, Front End Engineers, product managers and quality engineers for clarifying the questions and ideas to solve the problems on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in full cycle software development.
- 2+ years of experience in leading at least 3-5 team members in the past.
- Should have expert level skill in any one of these languages Go or Java or C/C++.
- Prior experience in leveraging one or more open source frameworks such as Gin (Go lang), Spring(Java), Oat++(C++) OR building custom frameworks is highly preferred.
- Experience in designing and developing API services is required.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, can-do attitude and communication skills are must.
- Experience in leveraging design patterns and best practices to solve problems is a plus.
- Contributions to open source projects is a plus.
- Cloud services (AWS, Google, Azure etc.) experience is a plus. Not mandatory.
- Experience in SDLC tools like git, JIRA, Jenkins, Code Coverage, Load/Performance tools, AWS Code Deploy etc are a plus.
- Experience in any monitoring and alerting tools are plus.

- Passion and curiosity to learn new technologies and languages and patterns to improve security, availability, performance and new capabilities quickly.
- Previous experience working in startups is also very helpful along with a can-do attitude.
